About this deal

use of the content you supply does not violate these Terms of Use and will not cause injury to any person or entity. Brightness sensor does not compensate enough for dark vs light rooms (but tweaking each artwork display is very easy)

Watching a midnight drama or a dramatic artwork? Finally – see every brilliant detail, without the glare of the sun or the lights in your room getting in the way. Samsung’s state-of-the-art Matte TV Display absorbs reflections, so even in bright light, you'll experience the brilliance of watching everything in truthful colour and incredible glare-free 4K detail*. Day or night, you’ll see artworks as realistically as you would in a gallery – and see the incredible detail in every scene, just as the directors intended. Samsung The Frame (2020) may be as pretty as a picture, but the actual picture quality isn’t always up to scratch. Motion is highly smooth, too, with the action sequences in Scott Pilgrim vs The World looking as polished as we hoped, whether skateboards were raining down on the hero’s head or swords and hammers were swinging across the screen. The Frame automatically uses a Picture Clarity mode to aid with this, though we found motion entirely passable even without it. that is, or may reasonably be considered to be, defamatory, libelous, hateful, racially or religiously biased or offensive, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing to any person or entity; The Frame TV is as much a statement piece of interior design as it is a standard television with its Art Mode and colorful bezel framing options. So if style is important to you, this is a solid choice. Beautiful Display spoilt by fat cable and bad UI The hardware is excellent (apart from the fat grey cable). The software needs a lot of work - hopefully it will improve over time. The Art TV features are disappointingly limited.

The Samsung The Frame TV (2020) is a facelift for this fashion-first designer TV

Almost all the sources we tried looked great on Samsung The Frame’s QLED panel, with a couple of exceptions. Skin tones aren’t always color-accurate, though—especially for non-white faces—and we found ourselves repeatedly switching between picture settings to try and amend this. When watching Mindy Kaling’s Netflix show Never Have I Ever, we found the default Standard setting gave the predominantly Indian cast a rather reddish tinge, with Cinema mode jumping to a slight green tint instead. It’s a slight issue, but disappointing nonetheless. Samsung The Frame TV (2020): audio performance
