About this deal

The redesigned carrying case features a waterproof body with dedicated compartments for each of the RSC 2's parts. DJI recommends using only the dedicated Ronin quick release plates for mounting a camera and an 18W USB charger for fast charging of the built-in battery. The RSC 2 is available as a stand-alone package, or as a Pro Combo with additional accessories, such as a Focus Motor, RavenEye Image Transmitter, and a carrying case. Besides offering the Virtual Joystick and the option to control the RSC 2 with a PS4 or Xbox controller, the app is also where you can connect to the RavenEye Image Transmission System.

Where the Ronin-SC’s trio of LED indicators required you to remember how you’d programmed each mode, the RSC 2 uses its 1-inch OLED to display which mode you’re in, what that mode does, the panning speed and the available battery life. The gimbal head folds down from the gimbal handle, and you can then flip the gimbal around and use it underslung for low-angle shots, without having to attach or detach anything. This includes gimbal movement, using the virtual joystick and Force Mobile, so gimbal mimics the mobile device's movement. This compact stabiliser for mirrorless and DSLR cameras features a foldable design and intuitive features, empowering filmmakers, one-man crews, and content creators everywhere. Flashlight: The camera can be tilted all the way forward so users can grip the base like a flashlight.

Equipped with a 1-inch black-and-white screen and Front Dial, DJI RSC 2 also features a foldable design, allowing it to adapt to any scenario with more flexibility. You can also change settings via a smartphone app, DJI Ronin, a free download for Android and iOS devices. With the addition of the live feed, it puts your camera’s point of view in the palm of your hand, allowing you to immersively pilot the gimbal simply by moving your phone. There's a Record button to start or stop capture, as well as a control wheel to set the lens aperture. The front focus wheel and trigger are well placed for your index finger, while the back buttons and scroll wheel sit within easy reach of your thumb.

When enabled, the RSC 2 mirrors the orientation of your wirelessly connected smartphone, panning and tilting in sync with your handset. If you have a heavier rig, consider the DJI RS2 or Zhiyun Crane 3—both handle bigger cinema cameras, up to 10 pounds for the RS2 and 14 pounds for the Crane 3. The gimbal supports powered follow focus for manual lenses and works with DJI's RavenEye wireless transmission system to transmit a live video feed from your camera to the Ronin smartphone app. New users might find its multitude of options, accessories and settings quite daunting, but once you’ve learned your way around this gimbal it will be a long time before you exhaust its potential. option does use the view through the camera lens, but you need the RavenEye attachment to transmit this to your phone.Adding RavenEye is worth it if you don't have a good solution for monitoring video with the camera mounted—if you use a body with a fixed rear display, it's an almost necessary add-on if you don't already use an external monitor.

Smarter and stronger than the Ronin-SC, the DJI RSC 2 makes smooth, cinematic shots possible with an even more portable setup.

Bring out your creative side with the RSC 2's six configurations, giving you the versatility to make even the toughest shots easy. the RSC 2 is essentially the same weight as the Ronin-SC, yet the new model can support cameras which hit the scales at up to 3kg. With the RSC 2 connected to a compatible camera, the gimbal will control both the panning and the shutter release, resulting in effortless yet remarkable results. The readout strikes an ideal balance, serving up just enough info to add clarity, without cluttering the interface.
