About this deal

I don’t know what kind of witchcraft or jedi mind tricks they have cast upon me…but it’s totally and completely working and I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself after the third book.

At the end of part one, Silas finds out that he and Charlie have been losing their memories every 48 hours for the past week. No compensation is provided for writing any reviews or any other posts on Booklovers For Life, unless otherwise stated. Sadly, the couple wasn’t even together in this book but we are once again gifted with their dual POVS as they both try to figure out what is happening to them. She won the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Romance three years in a row for Confess (2015), It Ends with Us (2016), and Without Merit (2017).

And so begins "The Adventure of Silas Nash and the Many Notes", an epic story of a boy stealing, hiding, reading, sorting, throwing and collecting notes that contains clues of his life and a girl named Charlie. But the more they learn about the couple they used to be…the more they question why they were ever together to begin with.

I was really looking forward to reading this instalment after the cliffhanger at the end of part one and while I definitely enjoyed it, the pace did seem to slow down a bit. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Through the eyes of our two adorable characters I now have an idea of how it must feel to lose all memory of who you are. The second installment in Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher’s novella-length serial series picks up right after part one left off.I really liked this book, because it shows readers what its like to experience things that not many do. There will be a third and final part to this book in which Hoover and Fisher will reveal what in the sam hell is going on. Things are not as easy as it seems and people soon will start making the wrong conclusions about their suddenly ‘renewed’ friendship.

From the letters, we also learn more about the troubles in their relationship because of their fathers. There really wasn’t any one thing that bothered me with this book other than the sameness to part one. Charlie is in trouble, and he must be the one to bridge the chasm between their past and their present. Armentrout Jessica Sorensen Karina Halle Katy Evans Kristen Ashley Monica Murphy Nalini Singh new adult paranormal Penelope Douglas Rachel Van Dyken release day review review romance Sawyer Bennett Spotlight St. There definitely is potential here, but I think it would work so much better as a full novel where we’ll get answer in one go.The letters were a great detail (and the reason why I’m rating it 3,5) and allowed us to see more of them as couple, but there was too much going around and absolutely no explanation (or clues) to why everything was happening. Her chapters weren’t necessarily long but I found I got more from them then I was expecting…especially her dreams – I kind of want just a chapter of her dreams. Every memory they had lovingly crafted and created throughout their lives has been reduced to rubble and rumour, leaving Silas and Charlie the monumental task of piecing their love back together, one brick at a time. Charlie is in trouble and he must be the one to bridge the chasm between their past and their present. So we were left with, a chunk of knowledge, but not quite enough yet, and Charlie is missing, and they are about to lose their memories again.
