Gripping story with near and distant past and present cleverly interwoven to show how the secrets of the past will always come to find us. While at the house some memories from the past come back to haunt her, and Martin isn't happy that she's moved away and won't visit. Honestly there’s not much I can say with the plot because the main plot ended quicker than the second plot. Set in 2 different time zones, full of suspense and an insight into what it was like to live in Devon during WW2, very good book.

To escape the paparazzi, Nancy leaves her job and flat in London and travels down to Devon to stay in her grandmother's house that she inherited. I know by now that any book by Jane Corry is bound to be a good one, so it is no surprise that Coming to Find You did not disappoint. But second… umm… I was not expecting half of this book to be a historical fiction, and at first I felt a little duped.

Most of the ‘Jane Corry-isms’ were present: the South-West-seaside-setting; an unreliable female narrator; a dark secret; shifting time and perspective; a brief jaunt to to prison, and of course a murder.

Eighty years later, Nancy Greenfield, takes refuge in the same house on Cliff Road when her stepbrother is sent to prison. Partly set during WW 11 and partly in the present day on the South coast of England this book grabbed me early on and kept me hooked throughout. Relieved the trial is over Nancy heads to Sidmouth to her grandmother Adeline’s home Tall Chimney’s now owned by Nancy. Jane Corry seems to make each chapter end on a thrilling moment which made me want to read on to find out what happens next.
