About this deal

P If you ask me the Fool was initially born as a man but is gender fluid and considering that this book was written about 20 years ago I have to give Robin Hobb kudos for being brave enough to invent his character! I guess Hobb got tired of the city-scape location of the previous books and decided she needed a reason to leave it. Also, Hap seems really interesting, so I hope we’ll learn more about him in Robin Hobb’s other books. It’s a hard thing to do to constantly force yourself onward in a series that has never managed to fully catch your interest, just waiting for it to improve. I have to also say, Skills have become one of the worst magic systems I've ever read, it's way too vague, abstract and it relies heavily on the concept "why not?

I’m sure Chade didn’t know any better because he was raised being a tool himself, but damn I can’t forgive him for everything he did. Reprinted again in January 2012 with ISBN 9785699537556, this is the last Russian edition with the Youll cover art. My brother and a good a friend both really like this series, but I had a hard time seeing it through.I mean, there was that one moment where I thought Nighteyes might be about to die and I was getting ready to shed some tears, but then that also turned out to be a false alarm… I’m hoping The Tawny Man trilogy will deliver more on that front! I was beyond excited to find out how it ends, so obviously, now that I know, I need to put down my thoughts for posterity 🤗 Because even though I’m not the biggest fan of writing reviews, I do love going back and reading them, as well as seeing all of your thoughts in the comments! Those very some of the best in the entire trilogy and why I think I still loved this book more than Royal Assasin. Republished in hardcover with new cover art in February 2011 by De Boekerij with ISBN 9789022553411.

But after falling in love with Royal Assassin, I was hoping for something a bit more satisfying from Assassin's Quest. My irritation with Fitz grew by the page, and at this point he is very near to becoming my least favourite protagonist ever. This is especially true for page 220-400, which was one of the most boring experience I’ve ever had in my lifetime of reading. For me, 5 is average, and I still think this book has some things to offer readers, especially as a continuation of the great first two books. The pervading sense at the beginning of this book is hopelesness and Hobb must be commended for making this topic so enthralling to the reader despite this.Despite the complex political intrigues, the wide-ranging geographies and the ancient magics of Skill and Wit, none of these take away from the people at the heart of the story. As for the ending, I saw the thing with Molly and Burrich coming from miles away, so it was no surprise for me.
